The Ideaz2b consultancy was conceived as short term project to fill a gap that was planned between my formal employment in a plc (see LinkedIn profile here ) and an impending family change of location – from Cape Town, RSA to London, UK.

Success in my career had demanded discovery of the possible to drive the brands for which I had responsibility. These brands generated over $500m in revenues and received over 35 million customers annually. Do you know the meaning of ‘the law  of diminished astonishment’? It suggests that in businesses with high rates of return custom, reinvention and renewal play a significant role in meeting customer expectations. And indeed, a virtual circle is created where renewal itself becomes part of the brand.

Ideaz2b strives to unearth possibility for brands, their unportalbergderlying businesses and therefore consumers.

Discovery happens best at points of inflection and tension. A burning need arises, or better is anticipated. The latter allowing more digging for the key differentiator that once shaped, amplified and delivered brings about results.

Collaborating with like-minded idea explorers, Ideaz2b has unearthed opportunities in:

  4. Shopping Centres in South Africa, being concerned with the growth in on-line shopping, commissioned a study on the use of digital technologies in retail and a CRM programme for visitors to their properties, the objective of which was to build visitor numbers.
